Need Your Serial Numbers

 hey everyone, im a member over on bmxmuseum.com in the states. i put together a guide on how to read mongoose serial numbers, but the year 1983 is giving us trouble and we have a lack of 83 mongoose owners. can you guys (and gals) post your serial numbers and models on here to help us out. this site is awesome, thanks alot everyone.

I'll post mine tomorrow , I have 2 calis , ones an 83 but i think the other is an 84  :-\ . I will check in the morning  :daumenhoch:

thanks guys that helps, i have figured out from 1977-87 but 83 was a wierd one, it seems you can only decode the year, and month built. got any more?

Yes,three hole bridge,the rear triangle tubing is approx 19mm diameter.

and if the UK models were different type number ?

Mine seems to be an early Rupe, but it's a 84
serial is : J4000946
