Cool, I once met Andy Patterson at the first big Birmingham Wheels race, we were hanging out on the nasty concrete track they had there.  I thought he was a really nice guy

He traveled with us to Holland in 82, nice bloke, bit too laid back at times, he gave me his mountain dew tour tee shirt, I only recently lost it when i split up with my x wife

Hi Andy , Thanks for you PM  As for the serial number on the rim , this is the best i can do for you. Hope this helps with the date 



It looks like the serial reads 0920331 on the front (when held in a certain way) but i can't make it out on the rear because of brake wear
