Try a bowl of warm water with a squirt of fairy liquid and use a small sponge (like those used for washing up the dishes where the sponge has a smooth and rough side).

It may take some time and a bit of elbow, and depends how dirty the tyres are but it's good for shifting brake block marks off white/amber side walls for example.

Hope that helps....there may be better methods about, but this works fine for me :daumenhoch:.

Lighter Fluid on a bit of cloth and rub away.  :daumenhoch:

Just don't try to re-enact Jimmy Hendrix doing Star Spangled Banner.

Etiher that or use Aerostylies method but let the missus do it as they always think they can clean better than men!  ;)

When I cleaned my white GT freestyle tyres, I used Astonish cleaning paste and a toothbrush.  They came out like new.

The Astonish I use is a general cleaner which comes in paste form in a tub.  Try this link mate:

Ta,

So a bit of paste on a toothbrush scrub away and presumeably wash off with plain old H2O?

Bit o' paste on said toothbrush, a little bit of H2O on top of paste (just to lubricate), scrub away (not too much pressure needed), wash off any residue with more H20.  Job's a good un.
