goose help

help please on an old goose.

looking at ones in the museum looks like a motomag or a decoaster....whats the differance??.

serial number CG7-41625 if that helps id it

has the ashtabula forks and cranks....were these standard on old geese

any info appreciated.

the decosters have an oval hole in the gusset  :2gunsfiring_v1: me if i'm wrong :daumenhoch:

sounds like a 1977 model CG 7

Round hole is goosey and oval is decoster
gooses were both full cromo and front triangle
where as de costers were i believe full cromo

astab forks cranks all sound spot on

heres one of my 78 project


its got rat traps 3 arrows cain wheel and ashtabula cranks as well now
need tyres decals and a blue paint job

thanks fellas.

usually only go for my era bikes,but really like the look of these old geese.

not sure if i can afford it,already over spent taking advantage of the weak dollar on US ebay,so many "bargains" this time of year.

we shall see though.
