just bought this frame and superforks from generallee, arrived in the post yesterday and is an absolute gem!!! ;D

This will be my first mid school build and am looking for some info on what parts would be considered appropriate?

I need to have a closer look at the forks, but they seem to be 1 1/8 (will measure later on) with a threaded top with a large black nut  - what kind of headset and stem would need to be used?

Anyone got any info on when the Flash pro was released and what the factory spec was for a complete bike?

any info appreciated folks!

use a regular aheadset and stem

the threaded top was for screwing a big nut on to clamp the lot down

some mongooses have the same thing

Enjoy that frame - its  a belter! The forks are indeed 1.1/8" and will fit fine on that frame with a regular unthreaded aheadset - the top nuy just holds it all in place and therefor means there is no need for star nut thing banged into the forks.
cheers!
