Are these Standard Strip Bars?
« on: January 03, 2007, 08:54 PM »
Hi guys,

Got these for my STA. Were listed as "standard 4 piece strip bars", but I was kinda surprised to find they didn't have the lower ends of the bars capped off  ???

Does anyone else have a set they could check?

Plus they've been cut down. Would love to know the original width so I can get these extended to their original size?

Thanks in advance,

Brian.

The oversize ones were the 6 piece strips, these do look like 4 piece Standard strip bars but i'm also unsure of the uncapped ends but the shape is definately the same.

Gun to my head i would say they are Standard bars.  :)

yeah, they've a real nice sweep on them, not too flat, not too... um... swept...?

If anyone can give me an overall width that'd be cool, cos these have been cut down way too much.

Even them catalogs look heavy  :police:

i've got a pair of them in the attic, they are 6 pcs, chrome, and the holes are not capped, brought them in 95 if i can remember they were very expensive.
Bloody good bar though.
