I've to follow up the score currently and wanting to see Everton win this season. It kind of hard to catch up with the games going and the private messages.Still keeping my fingers crossed. ;)

NOS Skyway Streetbeat with Warranty Card Still Attached. I have Spent A Year Sourcing all the Bits for this bike. I wanted to do something other than the standard green and blue or all green.

This is my 1985 Skyway Streetbeat, this bike started out as a long term project in Early in 2009.

The story all started with a set of Green set of Skyway Brake blocks from EBAY a year or so ago.  From then on I was hooked on this Build.  I knew I wanted to do something different with the colours and wanted my Streetbeat to stand out.  I eventually sourced a NOS Frame and fork set in green then my plan was hatched.  From that point on the Trawl began to try and build a NOS Bike from the 80’s. I know I wanted to do something which gave me fond memories from the past without compromise.  There lay the problem. The cost of bits these days is astronomical so I compromised on the Cranks and went for Redline Flights with the Twin pinch Bolts.

Almost 1 year of searching for the right bits at the right money and all Nos. This is how it stacked up.

NOS 1985 SKYWAY STREETBEAT

The Spec.

Skyway Streetbeat.
Skyway EZ ii Bars.
Skyway Tuff ii.
Elina UL (Ultra Light) Seat In Red.
Dia-Compe Hinged seat Clamp In Chrome
A'me Round Grips in Red.
Skyway Tuff Pads In Green.
Dia-Compe 880/901's in Chrome.
Dia-Compe Tech 6 Levers with Locking Buttons in Chrome.
Savage Red Brake Cable.
Redline Fights Twin Pinch.
Redline Sealed Bottom Bracket.
Redline Recluse Chainwheel (44T) in Black and Silver.
YBN Chain in Green.
Panaracer freestyle tyres in Red.
Tioga Bear Trap2  Head set.
ACS Rotor.
ACS Rotor Stem.
Shimano SX Pedals.
Skyway Padset All NOS
The Obligatory Green Dice Dust Caps.

I have Nos Skyway Pegs Front and Back in Green and a set of NOS Dyno Fork Standers in Green but they are not in the photos.  The bike is all NOS excluding the Stem and Front Brake Caliper and they are off show Bikes

It is totally unblemished and the photos cant show how clean this Streetbeat is.  It almost seems Criminal to build this bad boy up.  But what the hell I have a new Streetbeat and I love the way it turned out.

It almost seems Criminal to build this bad boy up. But what the hell.
What do you think???
