Skyway - how much should I expect?
« on: January 03, 2007, 02:09 PM »
Happy new year -

I am thinking about selling my TA - the reason that it is here and not in another part of the site is that I'm not entirely sure and would like people's views on it. Also I want a ripper at some point and not allowed both!

It is in the museum at the end of the skyways section (serial number 426) with the following bits and pieces:

ACS Z-rims on Suzues
CW Bars
MX1000 silver rear brake and tech 3 lever
Genuine Skyways pads
Takagi 180mm crank
Skyways graphite pedals
Tuff neck stem
Comp III's (Rainbow)
Mushroom grips
Hatte MX100 Headset
Bear trap BB
Izumi Chain
Kasimax aero seat
Suntour clamp

All nos apart from bars which have a bit of surface rust
Frame/forks have had a rechrome with a slight bit of pitting on rear triangle only

I may bay in when the market picks up March/April or split but any ideas on value?

Cheers
Rob

I would split it.

I would say you would easy get 200+ for the F&F, probally even 300 if its really good.

I know its a shame to split it, but you will get its ture value, people never pay as much for a complete bike as they would for all the parts.

Post a Pic  :daumenhoch:

That looks superb Rob, don't think you'd have any problem shifting it  :daumenhoch:
