hey. does anyone remember these frames and were they ever in production? i seen it in Action bike's trick stuff page in 83! it was named after the town and track of Magrington with sizes by Tuck who had a column in the mag. it looked a really good frame with a huge downtube off a tandem

It was commisioned by Tuckers Cycles, in Guisborough, Cleveland. It was named after the local track, also built by the same bloke, Margrove park. It was riden by people like Jonothan Tucker, who rode for "Tuckers Tornadoes" in the north east. Thats about all I can remember about it. Ad

I remember the Magra 531 from BITD.

I used to live near Guisborough till `84, and rode Margrove Park quite often, along with Saltburn and Redcar tracks. There was a lad that lived round the corner had a black Magra 531 which really stood out from the crowd, all I really know is, they were a limited run of frames sold through Tuckers and they were reputedly `kin rare and expensive.

Has anyone got any pics they can post?

Decals were those cheap stick on letters from a DIY shop, had a box frame aswell - got a pic of one somewhere. Never thought they were mass produced.

i rode the guisborough track 81-82 but only got to see the
magra at the indoor track black with gold stickers looked
a bit like a jmc . diamond back out bring on the magra
