i dont know really, is there an unspoken rule to gen1's black tuffs etc, and anything else is frowned upon. 1st step is getting the rechrome.

but i actually fancy doin somthing to complement the decals colour scheme. but sayin that i also fancy a set of graphites for it oooo choice choices

any advice on standard spec parts would be appreciated

Iv got one that needs Chrome too, so if you find a good Chromers LMK  :daumenhoch:

BTW when I build mine, Im going with Spokes  :)

I'd go with whatever does it for you unless you're going to doing a Haro Replica, might be worthwhile taking a peek at the Wilton post as his gen1 looks the dogs danglys.

A good find though, I'm jealous  >:D  :LolLolLolLol:

Steve, that's the puppy,  :smitten:

Post a picture of the forks upright and straight on, the giveaway is the height of the brake hole and and the shape of the legs as they curve down, Rombloke or Billstup should be able to let you know for sure  :daumenhoch:

I think bill had a pic of some real and fake forks... he may be able to tell you the differences.

There was thread about it a long time ago.

They look real to me :

The fake ones are in the middle, the drop outs are a little bit thinner and they do not have quite the same bend on them as the real ones  :daumenhoch:

Have yours still got the thin ring at the base of the steerer tube that the bottom ring of the headset seats on to  ???

I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips,
Straining upon the start. The game's afoot:
Follow your spirit, and upon this charge
Cry 'God for Harry, England, and Saint George!'
