When you say 'v' brakes - you mean 'v' brakes dont you? like mid school race brakes, cantis?Call me stupid, but a Bulldog aint no 'v' brake......
I had one on my last bike but had to use a "v roller" adaptor on the brake to get enough pull.

yeah i tried it graham and couldnt get it to work the gap on the headset for the giro just wasnt enough for the extra pull you need on the v brake .messed with it for ages to try get it to work and in the end failed and took the giro back off .
