gyros and v brakes

not something i have tried before, but before i go and buy a new gyro, will it work ok on v brakes?

i am not sure it would work either

v brakes seem to need more pull than a normal brake

When you say 'v' brakes - you mean 'v' brakes dont you?  like mid school race brakes, cantis?

Call me stupid,  but a Bulldog aint no 'v' brake......

yep v brakes, on canti mounts

i think motomags "bulldog" was a bike (not that feeble sidepull)

It's just a j shaped bit of pipe the inner cable goes through with a roller to allow the lever to pull more cable-they are to allow non v brake levers to be used I think.
I'll see if I can find a pic of mine but may have to go in the garage and take one later if I can find it.

yeah i tried it graham and couldnt get it to work the gap on the headset for the giro just wasnt enough for the extra pull you need on the v brake .messed with it for ages to try get it to work and in the end failed and took the giro back off .

like i said the gyro plates just bottom out.
lol.....why use 9 words when 300 will do.....hehe
