bar id please... and some cruiser advise..
« on: December 19, 2006, 02:35 AM »
got these off the bay for 99p...  they're goin on my hawk cruiser.   clearly not cruiser bars but they are are an inch or so lower than all my freestyle bars..

having never had a cruiser before i'm not too clued up.  i'm currently hand making a stem that'll be an upside down style one to get the bars a bit lower still. should cruiser handles be the same height as a 20" ride or will they still be a bit higher?

anyway, make and year of the bars would be helpfull. i'm not really fussed if they are cheap shitters or whatever cos i think their squareness will look wicked on the hawk.

  heres the bike they're for

Toy's R Us - I'm afraid they come on their standard range bikes. (£79 complete)

What does it matter if they ain't top class bars ? They look perfect for that frame and forks with the box section and all. As long as they ain't dangerously weak, I'd say slap em on.

thanks for the support guy ;)...   originally i was gonna try and make some from scratch wiv my mate thats got a welder.  i might still do as these ones are a tad tall for the cruiser.    when i've done my stem i'll get em on and post a pic..
