Just finished this Kuwahara from 1984.
The frame was painted and as far I know the Lazerlites came only in chrome, so I tried something different.
Metalic candy red powdercoat.
So, what you think?

A extra pic of the wheels, powdered white, red hubs and red nipples.

Part list: 1984 Kuwahara lazerlite frame with tange ARX forks. Powdered in metalic candy red. Araya rims, shimano hubs, Tioga Comp III tires, 1pc SR hollow crank, sealed BB, Sugino disc engraved Kuwahara, Sugino chainwheel, Suntour XCII pedals, KMC chain, shimano freewheel, Dia Compe MX1000 brake with Tech3 lever, Suntour stem, HI headset, GT Pro bar, A'me unitrions, Elina lightening bolts seat, some cromo seatpost with Kuwahara decal, Zeronine plate, BMX World pad set by Johar.
BTW someone offred me his chrome Sugino CT 3pc crank. Should I take it and use it on this bike?

Some years ago, when i was still racing, I did a set in yellow.
The paint is strong but after a while it rubs off because hard braking!

I will think about the 3pc crank, but like the 1pc crank on this bike.
Bitd most riders used 1pc cranks so.........
