Right if they were to reproduce the colour scheme of one of the original burners other than the team which one would you like to see.

For me it would have to be the black and gold Ultra Burner.

Spot on Mr. Zippy - that would be fecking awesome.

Below is the message I've just posted on the Burner forum. Please ignore my obvious frustration that comes through towards the end, it was in response to some stupid questions :uglystupid2:...what do you expect from people that restore Burner's though eh???  ;D

"OK guys, everyone who's a member of Burnerworld should now have an email containing 2 attachments, an advertising flyer and an order form. Believe it or not, you do have to pay for these bikes, so you will have to enter payment details.

If anyone who believes they are a member hasn't received their email yet, please contact me at davemac@burnerworld.co.uk

The pdf cannot be amended in Adobe Reader. If you read the form there are a number of ways you can place your order....some suggestions for all those that cannot be bothered to read it:

1. Print the form out, complete, and post.
2. Print the form out, complete, and fax.
3. Print the form out, complete, scan, and email.
4. Telephone the number on the form, and speak to the lovely Janet.
5. Recreate the form using wax crayons on the back of a shaven hamster, place it in a small cardboard tube from the inside of a toilet roll, and send it to Raleigh via carrier pigeon....FAO Janet obviously or it will never get there.

Thank You

Dave"

Just ordered mine through Raleigh.

I was the first one she did today so I expect she'll be inundated pretty soon.

Only ordered one though as I thought having two was a bit much.

What time did you sign up, was it this morning? Sorry I left the house early this morning.

I won't be able to sort until I get home tonight, don't worry though I'll get the form off to you asap.

You cannot pre-order from Raleigh, only with this form. Any other bikes will go out to dealers, although  most have already been aloocated to individual shops.

I was hpoing I could order, placing a deposit, and pay the balance prior to shipping.
I am a bit skint, well not skint, just not flush enough to justify the full price at the present time.
Would happily part with say £50 now.
Decisions, decisions.
Any creditors out there?  :LolLolLolLol:

I know the feeling Ad, mine will have to go on the credit card.

Could you imagine me being this involved with the project then missing out on one???  :(

Was it Simon Wild you dealt with through Raleigh?
If it was, have a word with him. He's a decent lad. Sure he'd help you if you helped him. :daumenhoch:

Yes mate, it was Simon. Been talking to him almost everyday for what seems like ages now getting this bike as good as humanly possible. Simon is a top bloke, and has fought tooth & nail to keep the project going.

How do you know Simon then???

PS. Got a mag the other day through the post off the bay, had a full page story on "Shooter!".  :daumenhoch:

Simon is a legend in my eyes... His desire to get this bike built and released has been superb, powers that be have tried to pull the plug on several occassions but the project was something he believed in [along with myself and DaveMac] and I think the powers that be are in for a suprise when they see how these bikes sell...  8)

Sir Simon Wild....  ;)

I worked at Raleigh with Simon.
I was the one originally asked whether to go for a Burner revival.
I did some research and decided that if it was gonna be done that we would have to do the bike as close to the original as possible.
The bosses there are very hard to push in a direction that they think unprofitable to them and thats put in the nicest way!
I decided not to go ahead with it. Looks like Simon decided to.
It would have taken a massive argument for it to get to that point!
I hope it works out for him.

I got this email from him just the other day -

"Got to keep it real mate like we discussed"

That was lost to me for years! My brother used it as a cover for one of his school books.
I managed to track one down on ebay a couple of years ago. :daumenhoch:
