76-77 White Lightning part II
« on: December 09, 2006, 08:46 PM »
Wasn't happy with the initial build so I re-did it..

White Lightning frame
Mel Stoutsenberger Redline Fork
Slant stem
Tange headset
Weinmann Rims

Ashtabula Crank
Wald Rat-trap pedals
Schwinn Bottom bracket
Takagi MX small diameter chainwheel
Unknown Spider

Unknown Box bars (Thanks Firebird!)
Oury Grip
Shimano brakeset
Schwinn front tire
Schwinn Seat clamp

Schwinn seatpost
Cinelli Unicanator saddle

Suntour 6 decal
Heavy duty spokes rear/80 gauge front
Home made bar pad :)

And British made Sturmey Archer 3 piece hubs.  I like these!  Any of my British cousins have access to any, let me know...

I've never seen such old bikes, they're fantastic! Where are you from Reilly yo pick up such beauties?

Cheers,
Adey.

Those are "cooling fins" on the fork by the way.  Just like the old Maicos.  A few people in the San Fernando valley did it and i always thought it looked sooo moto! :)
