ps , is teh reason why the majority of bmx frames have holes in the rear drops, due to sissy bar fitment?
-ie even a jmc has a hole

Erm ok, i thought it was meant to attach to the rear of the seat with the loop above like a back rest?? Same as on chopper bikes, but obviously not

It was a BMX saddle.  The sissy bar would get in the way sometimes if it stuck out like a conventional sissy bar attachment.

The seat has two  clamps under the seat in which the loop of the bar is attached to.

The very early frames with the small loop and hole on the dropout were meant for a sissy bar.  Anything like a JMC or more modern was more of a design thing as long seat were out of style

looks comfey though rick. did you have stickers lying araound? can't imagine there are too many sets of them available. where they redline forks in blue in the first pic?
