ive got a pk ripper with a one piece crank. if i up grade to a 3 piece crank will i need to change the cups? or will the bearings and bottom braket sit in the old cups? (never changed a crank b4)

If you're upgrading to an open bearing 3-piece crankset chances are the bearings will fit the 1-piece cups
Try the new bearings before knocking the old cups out
