Best way to do it is to go on to ebay - type in Raleigh Grifter in the search box and click on "Completed Items".
Had a quick look and between £40 (good) - £100(Excellent) depending on spec and condition.

Sold a very clean one at a boot fair this summer for £20.  They dont make that much ate so aim at 20 - 40.  Unless its the black limited edition.  Then upto £80 depending on condition.

we used to call it "slip gear"

bit like the pot luck gears on a chopper too.
nutriding the t-handle gear knob wasnt fun.

Mk1's are the ones to go for, I have one sat in my loft waiting for a resto. If you decide to restore parts are a fortune. I may sell up if I do i have all this NOS

bars with stem bolt
twist grip
grips
gear cable
brake cables
levers
lever hoods
lever sleeves
toggle gain
pedals
seat clamp
cotter pins with "R" nuts
chain guard
rear wheel nut for toggle
decal set
