I dont think the fanges are made of Titanium, they look like they are "titanium nitride " coated, like some drill bits etc :daumenhoch:

I was reading an interview on the V site with the Skyway CEO, he was saying that lots of "one offs" were made for factory and sponsered riders, so there is every chance they were truly unique!!!

You think your impatient....ive got no finger nails left now, I think I will have to build it with what I have and slowly convert it....
Townsend, if you see any 7b or 7c rims over your way, can you give me a shout, thanks

i remember that BMXA run down on Stu BITD. i'll need to get the issue again if ever it surfaces. that F/F set would not have been the same F/F as on the replica. i'm pretty sure Proline II didn't come out til 1981. i believe that rep has the incorrect 2 colour stickers,  the correct 3 colour frame stickers are rare if available at all. the chainstay brace didn't appear until about 1983  :daumenhoch:

this will be a great build ratty. best of all looking at the pics of Stu's bike he didn't have anything too exotic on his Proline II. those graphite tuffs were on his earlier Proline, John Crews has the tuffs on his bike in the Nora cup pic.  Haro series 2 plate in red huh? goodluck  :LolLolLolLol:

It's not that hard is it?

Redline Proline frame & Forks
Redline Proline V Bars
Redline Brute Stem
Redline Elina seat
Redline Fluted seat post
Redline Flights 185mm
Redline Chainwheel 42 or 43th
Redline Vinyl pad set
Comp III tyres 2.125 & 1.75
Union,KKT or MKS rat traps
MX1000 brake, Terry Cable, Motobike lever, Finned Matty blocks
Suntour Seat clamp
Suntour low flange sealed hubs
Araya 7C or Ukai Box Rims
Alloy nipples
Double Butted spokes
Oakley B2 grips
Haro Series one,Clear with white front...

Try looking on the other sites...  Vintagebmx OSbmx or ask Subwax, he knows a bit about Redlines.

I would guess his bike changed every race, but the above should get you away...

Oh... it's Stu Thomsen :P

Bren ;)

Thanks Bren, I have altered the spelling mistake. Sorry stu if you read this.

So Bren if I go with that spec all I have to find is

Union,KKT or MKS rat traps
Finned Matty blocks
Oakley B2 grips
Haro Series one,Clear with white front...

Thats not so hard, plus i need the stickers he ran on the plate, the only one I will struggle with is the bike shop one! was it Ralphs?
