removing sticky stuff

anyone know a good way of removing the sticky stuff left behind by decals on a chrome frame?

Seriously though, some sort of spirit/thinner would shift it.

acetone (or your mums or missus's nail polish remover   )

or petrol or white spirit apply then keep wiping or it will go sticky quickly/

also mixes good with ice.................

Depends on whether its for DNA cover up or just so the missus don't notice

brake cleaner available from any Auto factors or Halfords type shops gets rid of sticky stuff
its also great at removing oil stains etc fom carpets too! if anyone ever took their bikes indoors
