Axle to nut probs...

I've got some tuffs with brand new axles... it's all there (cones/lock nuts etc) & fits hunky dorey.

But, my prob is that the normal skyway nuts wont fit ...  :-\ I assumed they'd be the standard 10mm skyway nuts.

It threads so far and then tightens too much, unless it's forced !!!

Not sure what's going on ... any help would be much appreciated.

My knowledge on this is limited.

26 tpi you might have 24tpi

try some ordinary wheel nuts , apparently some of the plastic hubbed ones the fronts have  26 tpi ata the front and 24tpi on the back , or someone may have used ordinary axles in them
