seriously what have you found to be the best chrome police out there and how is it best applied? i have used alu b4  what do you all use (cant afford rechrome the way prices are at moment)

I use autosol (almost £6 a tube) and brasso wadding (£2 tin) , the wadding if a very good alternative to autosol and does the same job for a 1/3rd of the price.

peek is also very good,its not as abrasive as autosol so kinder on chrome, robert dyas stock it
British race frames and race clothing wanted

Autoglym metal polish. I use it on all the polished alloy on my Gixer. Keeps it perfect.

I try and avoid the police , whatever type they are :police:

but a good polish is called wonder chrome
