Bored, so I built this
« on: November 04, 2006, 05:20 PM »
At long last I`ve built my Gen 1 up  :daumenhoch:

This is the one I had in 1983 :

And this is the one I have now, the start of the build with all the parts :

Getting there :

It`s done :

Parts list :

Haro freestyler Generation 1 frame and fork, serial number TPP 1748 F
Skyway Tuff wheels, Graphite generation 1 front with Campagnolo hubs, coaster rear.
Redline flight cranks, single pinch.
Shimano DX Pedals
GT Pro bars.
GT layback seat post.
Kashimax aero seat.
MX 1000 brakes
Suntour power stem
Dia compe two finger levers.
Dia compe hinged seat post clamp.

No chain yet, but thats because I can`t find it, and I`m just waiting for some red nail varnish to colour the bar ends in  :daumenhoch:

I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips,
Straining upon the start. The game's afoot:
Follow your spirit, and upon this charge
Cry 'God for Harry, England, and Saint George!'

She was out with the kids Paul, I did put a dust sheet down first though  :LolLolLolLol:

The seat post is not bent, except where its ment to be, so it must be my dodgy photo taking  :daumenhoch:
