I am quite liking just looking at some of the frames I have at the moment. I've got a fair few parts, and can build alot of them up, but space is an issue these days (I have way too much stuff)

Does anybody else just stare at their frames, or am I the only sad pervert here ?

I have a couple of frames in my lounge now, obviously they'll have to be removed before the hoover chips the paint on them, but I do like to sit and look at them.

Not sure, but I think it's an '83. Just bought it off Firebird. T3I1203

just wondered as i was looking at the rear dropouts, a few of us have been trying to work out if there was any particular timeline for having the dropouts with the ridges along the bottom $:-\$

its non stamped too i take it?

Very nice frames.

Thats the problem with Nos Frames, Iv got an 85 Chrome Master, once its been built, its no longer Nos

I quite like to just have them as Frames, but I know I will build it up, thats what they were made for

I've got an '84 chrome Master on me wall at the moment too, as well as a NOS Race Inc, and a NOS Robinson - I need medical attention

obviously not then

apparently the later or 84 onwards frames had a stamped logo on the dropouts & brake bridge

thanks to NSR Jamie for the use of those 2 pics

also a pic of my Laserlite (chrome) & KZ1 (blue) rear drops for comparison

lastly white Tange/Tioga Rhino 3 & yellow Kuwie magician from about 87 (K logo stamp just visible) the only frame i have with the ridged dropouts

the yellow one is a Taiwan made bike hence the slightly different shaped dropouts & hole sizes plus the tunes aint flattened & welded both sides either like all the other Tange/Kuwie made frames!

I have to confess I'm as guilty as the rest for sitting there adimiring my bikes . . . especially after I've first built them. I often browse through the RAD musuem too as there's some stunning looking bikes here now which are ALL equally as nice to look at

yep i have a fair few that i have hanging on the wall as again lack of room is my problem . guy i don`t think it sad but then again we must have a few carrotts loose to collect this old stuff anyway
