Where on earth was this huge bowl ?



We discused it at Rom on Sunday and no-ones got a clue   :idiot2:

But it looks fecking huge by this pic  :crazy2:

Billy - That is HUGE - there was a big bowl in Putney called Wheelies (I think) that looked just like this bowl except this bowl has a scenic backdrop, Putney had the High Street in the background.

i remember as a kid going to a place over camden way that had a big bowl like that . we had to leave after 10 mins as loads of dodge folks came over trying to tax our bikes

Yeah I posted it up before but no-one knew where it was then either. I think it was off a site that had a few pics of some bfa comps on it, I think there was some pics of Pepi on there  :daumenhoch:

that's kettering (wicksteed park) skatepark, chilly (david childs / rampchilds ramp builder) was a local.  the guy who did the 2 fakie backflips 2 weeks after hoffman did them at mansfield was from there as well.   he then did a wallride in a tutu at the alfreton 1990 christmas bfa comp and fractured his skull. oh yes.
the one time i went `1990 i think, there was a seriously 70+ year old  guy in red cagoule with full beard rollerskating that bowl.
it got demolished 91 0r 92 i think.

i know about the one in kentish town as well . this place i thinking about had grass all round it ie like a park . oh well i never know .

don't know when it was built. must have been late 70s. maybe.  it was 18ft deep though.  there was an abmx article on it once. or was it in RAD. god knows, as i just sold them all. didn't i dj?

this photo was once in action bike a far as i remember. Crazy size. No wonder it was demolished. What were the guys thinking that made it? kids would die in that bowl..

lets dig it up. what hapened to the gillingham skatepark dig up project?

Those backflip fakies were at Milton Keynes, what a loon!!!!! He got a blowjob for his troubles though from one of the local ladies  :daumenhoch:
