My old Gen1  :smitten:

It spent most of its life chrome, but then painted it a few different colours, signal green, aqua, electric blue and then olympic blue as in the pic.

It served me well over the years, wish i still had it.  :'(

Thats an interesting shot of Bob Haro, what Frame is that ?  Looks like a Gen 1 Freestyler gusset, but its single top tube & no Coaster anchor  ???  Must be a proto-type  :-\

OK, Literaly just finished building this. Got it from the states in December and i had been media blasted (with walnut shell thankfully, very little pitting) so i stripped, sanded, polished and rechromed along with the vectors and 401 arms. Pretty pleased with it but had a right old game with the mx3 grips over the vectors (as i am sure others have in the past) but got them on with help of the wifes hairdryer. Think i will replace them with blue ame tri's in the near future and  also have a nos blue series one to go on. Big thanks to Christian for parting with the haro levers :daumenhoch:

Thanks Dave, yeah i may change grips and levers to finish it off. The levers feel really delicate too, love the look of them but you need hands like that bloke in total rcall to brake :LolLolLolLol:
