Gary Ellis's number plate

Gary Ellis gave me this number plate when the Americans raced at Redditch (in 1981 I think), just thought I'd share it with you.  I think he had to change his number because someone else had the same on the day.  I think the shape of it is unusual and haven't seen any other like it, was this shape the 'fashion' around that era?  He signed it for me too  :)

Hey I was there too and if memory serves me right, so was Ratty, dont remember that plate though and certainly havnt seen one before now, I ride a Robinson now dont suppose it's up for sale Lou? :daumenhoch:

I was there, fantastic event, Them saber plates were cool, I think Alan distributed them along with Robinson and I think Torker?

I couldn't get rid of it, means to much.  I remember the way Gary looked at me when he gave it to me and thought, yeah, I'm in there.

im in touch with gary, i was a kuwa factory rider in south africa and we hooked up when he came over there ,post a pic of you now and ill email it to him ;)
