12840142.i,m guessing this is december 1984 number 142.chrome is excellent,dropouts are chewed.can i just get them sorted & rechromed or do i need the whole frame re-doing.cheers.

Best get the whole F&Fs re-chromed then you will have an even new finish over the whole frame (you wont be able to get just the drop outs re-chromed) and where they are repaired, it will lift off the existing chrome to leave a jagged edge. Send it up to Biagio, he will repair the drop outs and sort the chroming, does an excellent job http://www.vert-ego.com/
