I don't know, you're the powder-coater! ;D ;)

How many coats do you usually apply Dan?

So several coats (mentioned on their website) would be a bit much on a bike.  Suppose that's okay when you are applying it to a car that already weighs 3 ton, it's hardly going to notice. ;D

gra   this was why i posted this thread,   yes i can do it, i also used to paint cars when i was younger,  what i'm after is a knowledge as to how it's done,   not from some fancy web site but from a rad member thats had it done and knows how it's done,  what it cost and how they thought it looked, and also any uk suppliers.

I thought you were the only powder-coater on the site Dan, can't remember seeing anyone else say they can do it.

what i mean gra is most guys on this site have an amazing knowledge of bmx history, bikes, parts ect, so surley some one must know how there pride and joy was painted,  whether it's powder, two pack or candy colours,   there's gotta be some one who's had it done and knows the process.

Fingers crossed Dan, that electric blue looks fantastic, I might be tempted.
