poke a thin screwdriver down between the grip and the bar and spray in wd40

use wd40 for refitting too!

I poke a spare spoke carefully down the grip, lift it a bit and spray WD-40, then PULL.

yep i use the old poke trick, but i find a drop of wasing up liquid better.
and it washes out easier after..

the best thing for putting new grips back on is hair spray, drys like glue

Boil the kettle, put on rubber gloves, fill a jug, lean the bike into the jug, leave it there for 20 seconds, give them a tug (easy for the average bloke) voila, one pair of undamaged grips.

And you can ride straight away cos of no oily slippery stuff!
