What normal V's?  not really correct for the time though is it?

I've got some old XT or Avids knocking about at home??  the Avids could even be some copper coloured titanium ones!  :)

sod the time mate just lob a brake on it and of you go i think you dont have the choice with those brakes .and they do work well when set up.

It needs a Canti brake on it dude...looks like there is an adjuster bracket between the seatstays...but need a clearer pic...

I like the little Tektro ones...like below...there are a few on US ebay, or ask the Rad members - someone is bound to have one:

not sure how much threadless go for, sure youl get some decent forks easy enough though

No from what i can make out it's old school threaded headset size....could be wrong though  :-\
