Haro Master 85 - What would you pay?
« on: October 08, 2006, 11:00 PM »
Hi guys, im new to this old school thing but have been thinking of either a master or performer for a while, anyway have the chance to buy an 85 Master, nos frame, fusion bars, sugino gt cranks, skyways, odyssey post , dk stem and kashimax seat for £350.  Question is ...is it worth it?? I've no idea and dont really want to have my pants pulled down! .. Any thoughts appreciated..cheers  bikecan be seen here :

Been offered it as 2nd chance as i think the winner was there to get the price up

Thats a Decent price for a white 85 , you can pay around £200 for a white frameset now , £80 for wheels , and the rest of the bits on that will set you back well over the remaining £70. Blue headsets , diacompe hinged clamp , kashi , amongst other things are good parts and fetch decent money , Worth £350 , i say.....

Oh yeah , GT 's are no good , they all have a bend in the down tube , Haros are a much better choice. LOL

Tell him that your only willing to go to the first bid of £325 as it was the other bidder that bid it up to £350  :daumenhoch:
I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips,
Straining upon the start. The game's afoot:
Follow your spirit, and upon this charge
Cry 'God for Harry, England, and Saint George!'

You must be careful with second chance offers too as a lot of them are scams!

Yep, I often smell a rat with 2nd chance offers unless I know who the seller is

I've just had one with a Tuf Neck bolt kit and was being outbid by the same US member with a very low feedback score so I gave up in the end

Within ten minutes of the auction ending I got mail to say . . . "CONGRATULATIONS" . . . yeah right !!!

Good luck BTW jj46. . . I hope your deal pulls off . . . not all eBayers are mean sellers  :daumenhoch:

Yeah as above, just make sure the second chance offer is through ebay from the actual seller and not direct to your email account.
I'd only want to pay the £325 also  :daumenhoch:

I wouldn't budge from the £325, tell him that's the deal or go re-list it... its a good price but I hate people who bump prices up... why dont they just stick a reserve on it ffs.
