chain getting looser

fitted a new chain, put chain adjusters on. made it quite tight.
kept coming off, took more links out, made it tight and now its coming loose again. the wheels arent moving cos of the adjusters

whats happening cos it getting painfull now when it keeps coming off mid ride

help   :'(

a new chain will stretch mate then settle down

cheers mate. i expected some stretching but it seems never ending. will take another link out later
