What did you do with all your old trophies,

I have about 100 all broken in a box at my parents house !

Not sure what I would do with them now if they were not all broken,

To be honest its about 5 years since i last saw them, I must see if they are still there next time i visit !

Had over 200 that I took down to the tip about 3 years ago when we moved house. This was before I got back into the Oldschool scene

I had hundreds of trophies from my racing days. They were all in a box at my ex-wife's had them about 5 years ago (stored at her boyfriends place) and she was meant to drop them to me but she forgot. Since then I have not seen her, I will ask Jon (cider) if he can help as my ex-wife is his cousin.

i raced once.
there was only 4 in my group and i came fourth

i got a 4th place plaque

it more of a "thanks for coming" award, as the rest of the pack shof off, leaving me pedalling around knackered with helmet too big for me.

it was that day when i decided to concentrate on freestyle

still got all mine, about 100, got a few of the nice ones like plaques or cups from south central regional series rankings scattered around the house

most are those platicy ones with the bmx figure on top, some have corroded abit, so are boxed in the loft

when i get a new garage, thatll be the place to display em - good idea!

Jon, if you have no use for the broken ones why not recycle them. I have been to a couple of old school races now where every rider has been given an old trophy for taking part. Made me feel special, getting my 1st 80's trophy...twenty years too late.

Hmmm..I started in 72. raced two three times a week, multiplied by 15 years for the first 15 years and add the occasional races the last 15 years. Sooo...so as far as the location of all the trophies I won over the years, It's sitting in front of me by the computer...

The thophies with best memories I kep, about 20 maybe.
The rest I gave to the Latvian and Lithuanian BMX federation about 10 years ago.

, and thought it would be good to put it on top of the telly... lasted about a week before I knocked it off and broke a lump off it!!!

Got over a hundred in the bottom of the wardrobe , only ones not there are British Champs ones which are on a shelf in the top of said wardrobe ! .

Only had about 12 or so - my best one being a national win at Buckmore! (Not best trophy - but meant the most to me!)

My mum and Dad have 100's of me and my sisters trophys from the 80s in the loft. I've got a spare bedroom full of new ones I've won since i've got back into it. My mrs gets fed up with them cluttering up the place.
