My TA.  Last addition it had was a pair of Jive grips back in 94.  I am gonna get it re chromed, cos its all flaked at the headtube and its a bit dull.  but it's still cool.

Difficult one

A bashed up frame that means nothing to me is screaming to be restored  but i ride them and all the scars are my scars so i guess that counts a bit

second that, i build my bikes as riders so i do mix n match to get the best feel of the bike and so its up to the job in hand

All the NOS big buck bikes are nice but they are bikes, your ment to ride em, not hang em on the wall...

i must admit there do seem to be alot turning up in the last month or 2 .i mean riders just get on and go type ,where have they been hiding ,must be the indian summer .that kuwey is amazing condition as was daves gen 1 just needing a good clean.i hope to find one soon you lot cant have all the luck

I bought this and someone has buchered the dropouts so I have had to make spacer washer thingies to mount the rear wheel safely,

I thought about having the dropouts fixed then restoring the bike with nos parts and decals ect ect ect... but then I wouldnt be able to do this with it


which in my eyes would be sacrilige

The bikes ok, a few scratches, but its not show finish anyway, my shoulder and knee are killing this morning but compared to some peoples injuries on here mine ranks a 1/10. I met Zippy dixon yesterday at Braintree, he is just recovering from a broken wrist...get well soon  mate

Must admit I'd rather get that Gen 1 refurb'd, just because I love the replica bikes built by Dave et al

Im with you ratty i still ride and my every day bike is a dk 6pack and its been every were last trip was spain in the boot of our bar i had a right laugh over there hot dusty and no rain .my old diamondback is nearly all original i changed the tires and pedals and brake blocks as didnt want to ware them out .I love these old bikes a bit like bmx's in barns.
