tried bleach mate no joy so tried man milk still no joy so used the rombloke method, still cant beleive how well it came up

Was that done with Dylon Multi Purpose Dye in Golden Glow?

Got to be the WD 40 trick then cos in his tuff resto thread he says he uses dye

so he didnt tell you about scraping the top layer off with a stanley knife first then? bugger have i just told you something i shouldnt

lol...i only dye badly faded tuffs...for a quick resto, scrap the rim clean of brake residue with a stanley blade, dragging it as apposed to cutting, then hit the rest of the wheel with 800 then 1000 grit wet and dry, then the obvious......wd40
