Greg Hill and Stu Thomsen. Both could jump and both were blindingly quick.

None back in the day as I remember,
But having read up on BMX history recently it would have to be Stu Thomsen. Racing legend, plus credited with first aerials in a skatepark.
Similarly I'd choose Andy Ruffell for the UK because of all-round ability, racing & freestyle.

Greg Hill was a big early influence with covers like these in 82 & 83 . His influence was reflected in my 1st proper race bike being a GT Pro custom build from Faze 7 .

Then these in 84 ...................

Early pic of me on my GT Pro at Peterborough after dumping the Z's for 1 3/8 Ukais

Another big fave was Pete Loncarevich , pictured here in 95 when riding MTB for Parkpre .

Meeting Mike Miranda in 86 was also cool , he laughed when I tipped him over a berm so the next gate he returned the favour  :LolLolLolLol: .

If anyone has a Pistol Pete CW then I'm after one , LMK  ;)
