Hi all
What is the best way to remove rust on a painted frame?
I would like to keep it original so do not want to harm the decals....
Coke? Cif of something else?
Thanks

Neither.
You want to use CAP (Citric Acid Powder) or OA (Oxalic Acid)
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Citric-Acid-1kg-100-Grade/dp/B00DJI8RA0/ref=sr_1_6?crid=2TD8NNAIWCGUX&dchild=1&keywords=citric+acid+powder&qid=1613571112&sprefix=citric+acid+pow%2Caps%2C160&sr=8-6
Put the parts in a tub, put that in with water. Plenty of tutorials on the net.

How long do you leave it in the bath for. Added more crystals, but after a day not much is going on!

I normally put in 1/2 - 1 kg and leave for a day. Wipe over every now and again if you can. You will see it working as the rust spots normally turn yellow.
