S.C.O.S OLD SCHOOL WEEKENDER 2.5
« on: May 23, 2020, 07:17 PM »
Due to this years event being due to go ahead at the end of june I have made the decision to cancel it for safety reasons due to it being an uncertain time so ibhave move the event forward to June the 25th till 27th of 2021
Everyone who has already bought tickets they will be honoured so please dont worry but I wanted to get this event up early to try and get a much better turn out than last year ,dont get ne wrong it was great but I am sure we can make it a load better same place as last year ?15 per ticket for a weekend of camping ,Rideout swap meet show and shine and raffle
Let's see if we cant get some of you northern chaps down for the weekend
Se tent haro tent plus main marquee
I really look forward to see you all there

Great effort in making the event real in the first place. I was hurrying a build along to bring to the event and enter the 'show and shine' but it can wait a year. I had planned a long bloke weekend with my step father for this event, we had hotels near the event and near Beaulieu but they cancelled on us weeks ago.
Rest assured I will be there next year with even more bikes than planned now! Anything I can do to help just ask. Perhaps a '...from Japan tent', would be very cool? Maybe one year.

hey everyone
as long as the lockdown is eased as set out by the government by the 21st of june I am gonna go ahead with my event the weekend pf the 25th til the 27th  I have 21 acre field with plenty of room for everyone to camp socially distanced away from each other if that is what you want to do there will also be masks availaible if you feel you like to use them still .
I have two marquees this year one which I have hired plus another smaller one that I have bought plus I also have a large garden marquee which we can also fill with bikes
we have lost of activities planed for the weekend  such  as Friday arrive get settled maybe a bike ride in the evening to a couple of local pubs
Saturday  swap meet during the day allowing other people to arrive then Saturday evening jeff with his tunes
sunday show and shine the raffle draw and judging done by 2.30 so everyone can get back to there normal lives with plenty of time for there work Monday

I understand that people may still be worried about things but if we are sensible and go about things the right way we should be good
I am limited too 250 tickets
we have some special guests joining us too so lets all have something to look forward too at the end of june more things in pipeline watch this space
pm for tickets ?15 for weekend including camping

I would love to book this, I have unused tickets from 2020, but there are too many unknowns. Back in 2020 I had planned a long weekend away with my father which included a couple of days at Beaulieu,  a proper blokes holiday but iit was destroyed by fku. Without hotels and museums making the same commitment as you I can not commit. I wish you every success, I still have my Japan bike fleet ready to deploy but not this year, not because of Covid fear but because of the manifestation of Covid fear.

As I am not on FB

I'd like to thank Lee & associates for the excellent event last weekend, Unfortunately we were only there for the Saturday but had a blast chatting with like minded folk. We've already said that next year we'll be there for the whole weekend

Cheers all
