I had similar with an orange Tuf Neck ace stem years back (no paint stripper seemed to touch it). I ended up having it media blasted.

Yep I've tried the lot! Cant shift it off this bugger only thing left is to get it media blasted or something on those lines? I know it'll come up sweet after being stripped tho  :daumenhoch:
