Help...
« on: September 24, 2006, 03:22 AM »
I've been offered this PK ripper to exchange, yes (don't laugh) a mk I custom burner - pretty near show condition.

But I don't know much about them at all... I've been told it's a '90 ish ripper expert, USA made.

Do I bite his arm off or hold on to my burner which means quite a lot to me...

What's it's worth do you know as is ? There is a minor ding in the top tube which I've seen.

Please help... thanks in advance.

If it means a lot to you why would you let it go?

Well, just the effort I've put into it. Nothing sentimental.

That comment was more amaimed at those here who don't really rate the burner that highly.

I've been riding a decent burner - aero pro, and going back to a mk ! burner didn't feel too nice.  :LolLolLolLol:

So I'm thinkin another decent rider in the line up might be good.  ;)

The only problem you may have is that Ripper will make the Aero Burner feel like a dog to ride  :LolLolLolLol:
Why oh why do I still buy kids bikes!

I hated my PK back in the 80's. I never liked the way it rode. Thats why I kept the Supergoose. And the goose didn't snap at the sight of a skatepark.

The 90s ripper is nothing like the 80s ripper its much stronger .
don't forget this is a race bike and not for the park.

Yep, keep the Burner.  Failing that, you could always do what you feel is best. ;)

Thanks for the replies chaps, I've decided to keep hold of the burner. I know it's only a burner but it's not like I can do anything more than I already could on a decently built bike.  ;D

No Deal.  :idiot2:
