Back in 2014 I get a message from a mate of mine saying his pal had some BMX he wants to sell, I ask him to shoot me some pics.  I get a load of pics sent over.. i'm scrolling through them and then I see these ...

Needless to say the car was wheelspinning down the road and when I get there there is this beautiful original finish Machined bottom bracket DY in amazing condition.  The deal was done there and then and i took it home.
It's been hanging on the wall ever since.
I've never made a huge push to search for the parts to build it but have been slowly gathering bits over the years. 
I never really imagined building this without DY bars but when the VDC made Powerlites came up I decided to go against the grain and mix it up a bit.
The whole build is original condition survivor parts with exception of the crank decals and the hubs which are refinished.

Ficking fantastic. Looks perfect & the bars are a great 'twist' (even if personally I've never really liked the way they give you bent grips), and that OG paint is in stunning condition  :smitten:.
