I had a few old parts laying around and used some NOS too
You know, genuine NOS, not 'was once NOS but fitted to 3 different bikes NOS!'

It was a scheme I had in my head for a while when the seat popped up. They didn't make a baby blue 2169 but there are a number of them around the bazaars that have 'become' baby blue over the years and nobody has fully explained why. There is still a subtle purple hue to the underside so this may offer some history to it's torment.

The decals lend themselves to the seat and the grips are almost bang on (NOS don't you know!) as are the Tuf Blocks. Oh, you didn't notice that little detail! It's all in the detail!
Yes yes yes I've straightened the grip! It's because I'd used WD40 to fit it!!!! NOT!!!

I would love to have put baby blue Tufs and white tyres on it but hey oh.
The GT Performer OGKs and NOS 87 GT tyres will have to do!

Scruffy was a fun project and I was willing to keep her but another Radster wanted all the bits that didn't get transferred over and she was bought for this project originally.
The frame was ok but somebody had painted gloss paint over the forks to cover scratches and they covered the stickers too!
If the forks had been as good as the frame I might have kept scruffy scruffy lol
