Mk1 Raleigh nightburner build
« on: July 03, 2020, 04:21 PM »
Seeing as tho the prices of old school burners are on the rise, I decided to buy one to keep for good this time. It's been a few years since I've been into the old school BMX scene but I must say I have missed it and am really looking forward to a ride out/pub crawl. Just got the frame, forks, brake set and wheels so far. Looking for handlebars similar to the originals but being a MK1 I need high rise ones ( maybe aero pro bars ) if I'm going to use it. All the red bits are going to the annodisers in the next few weeks. The frame will be left till last

One of my mates had a nightburner back in the day  :)

You not tempted to keep the frame original ?   :(

If the forks where any better I would but they're in a right state. I may strip the forks and smoke laquer them to the closest match but I've always wanted one that looks like it's just been unboxed in 1983

MR Creations is the man you need to speak too.  He's also a genius at metal work repairs, and top draw painter!
