MK II EZ Bars - Vote added

So I bought a tatty MBK Bercy Masters, you might have seen it in the Today I Bought thread. Renegade points out that the bars are bent ( thanks ). So knowing bars can be bent back but probably weaker for it and probably not spot on, I'm thinking they've got to go. I messaged the seller and he's saying they're not bent but they clearly are. Shame, because they are og to the bike. What do you think guys? straighten and keep or replace. If it's replace, I'm thinking about the Skyway EZ Bars MK  II Biagio has on eBay. Only because the grey finish seems to be pretty close to the grey on the frame. What's the quality like? Are they decent enough bars for my ratty ride. All comments and opinions welcome.

OG would be my choice but I reckon the Skyway bars would actually suit it quite well to be fair.

More importantly however....... get rid of that fookin drainpipe snakepost abominiation

I would see if you could straighten them, if not those Skyway bars would look great.

Yep, I'd stick those EZ bars on, look a great colour-match.....always liked those MKII bars but were always a bit 'new' for my TA builds....

New grips, tyres, post and seat.........Roll it!!!!!!

Thanks for you comments guys, cheeky or not  I've bought the bars as a back up. I think they'll end up on it to be honest. Glad I did because there was only 2 pairs for sale and they've both sold now. The seat post.... ?? Probably gonna stay on it as it is og, crmo and looks right on it to me. What do I know though, this is my first freestyle bike and probably my last. I don't know a thing about them, just wanted one tinker with. Pedal choice is giving me grief, the Unions seem to be a dead end so thinking lollipops, maybe. Got grips and tyres so when it arrives there's a few bits to do.
I think I've a saddle gathering dust too but I like the knackered look for now. Voting edging towards replace btw.

MK11 - didn't I buy it off Griff but he had to burn it and the money went to charity or something like that ? Can't remember the full storry - good sport Griff mate

I'm sure Griff retrieved the burnt seat post the next morning from the ashes - there was a piccy but I haven't got that one

Votes are in and the rat landed today. The bars are slightly bent but not too bad. Gonna try and save them as they are actually kinda cool, to the vice they go. I might change my mind about that post but I've only got an Odyssey lay back. There's a lot of cleaning to do before I have to worry about that though, the grease is like tar. Front wheel stripped and cleaned ready for repack. Crank off, bb out and the weekend is here.

Yeah I was warned about them, that's why I took it off of my Blue Max and put a straight post on. Have a look at my ? DIY Mod? post, that's what came off and it's not going back on  looking for a internally braced tioga I reckon, possibly a snake.  The Odyssey will have to do til then.

I think it's a proper Viscount Trick Top. Not sure I'm liking the look now though. I've got my eye on something on fleabay and I have a slightly smaller than standard white hard shell seat which might work. I'll defo be in touch if I go for the og look though. Thanks Carl

Oh yeah, the guy I bought the bike off is looking for a pair of bars to replace bent ones with. I wished him good luck but he thinks he might have a pair. Let's wait and see !

We raised a fair bit for burning that Elina 

The seatpost was cherished for years after that, until it finally found a 'forever home' as part of a trophy Stevo made for the Survivor & Rust category at MK

I remember Steve's Survivor & Rust Trophies - didn't realise the legendary post was part of one of them ! Who now own's that piece of RAD history then ? 

You got a piccy of it's charred remains ? There were deffinitely a few pics of it BITD as I remeber.
