Redline MXii - 1982
« on: June 02, 2020, 12:48 PM »
Third build done... (follows on from my Mongoose Californian 83 and a 85 GT Pro Series I built for my son!).

This one is a Redline MXii ? 1982 and is for my daughter!!!  Kept me sane tracking down some of the parts and building it during lockdown, all original chrome which isn't in bad condition for a 38 year old bike!  The three of use are out most nights riding the bikes for some family exercise, the kids have no idea really what they are riding, but every now and then we'll pass some feller in their 40s and 50s who know exactly what they are looking at.

Nice clean build that Rob, looks great.

I like that you've not gone down the red tyres road, I've seen a lot of bikes with red, blue, gold parts that have coloured tyres that make them look a bit OTT IMHO

Here's the full set.  Dads (Californian 83), Lads (85 Pro Series), and the girls (82 Redline).  I have offered to build the missus one but she says she aint interested... never mind!
