I have a set of very mottled white 80's skyways, probably been left in a loft or something for years so look like a blackey grey mottling on them all over! so will coating them in peroxide/cling film/sun light method be all I need to do? or not? please please please advise me before the sun goes away lol  ;) :daumenhoch:

I did do a build thread with z rims with hair bleach..
The search bit on here is shite and you cannot put in search z rims  ::)

Anyway..
Black sets especially z rims used 800/1000/1500 grade wet and dry with soapy water.
Then Wd 40 ..
Looked like new..
The White set which was faded and patchy cream colour , I just used 1000 wet and dry..
Then used loreal oxdant creame 40% vol (hair bleach) brushed this on wrapped in cling film and left on washing line in the sun for 4 days as uv light from sun acts with the cream.
It worked a treat on the White looks like new now..
You probably could do this on tuffs just cover the flanges (oh mother) with Vaseline just in case  fistblump

Can anyone post a link up for me  :daumenhoch: as,as Ady states the search facility ain't working for me like I mentioned a few days ago? ???

PS.Ady or anyone else  ;) will the peroxide method work straight off the bat if the wheels are mottled all over with marks?

You got to remove the oxidation mate for this stuff too work . Again use high grade wet and dry or it might be patchy.

Found a few threads mate..
Knock yourself out..
