That PK frame has been polished to f%@k. Maybe polished parts are back in  ;D
There's a much better looptail Ripper in blue on ebay at the moment that I'd have 'hands down' over this one if I was after one.

It's some kind of scam or just someone trolling. Look at the bidders on some of these very overpriced items, the same names crop up and typically new accounts as they only have low feedback scores. Dunno what the game is, but I'd be amazed if all these items aren't back up for sale following the end of the current sale.

Unless it's someone very rich and equally as dumb?

Same 2 bidders on those Araya's. Feedbacks of 2 and 7, bigging it up from the 'normal' price of around ?200 to over ?900. Dodgy as fk

Some people must be really bored shitless to go through listing just to bid it up for nothing.

That's guy's got to be doing something fishy, the prices he's getting are just out-of-touch, not to mention his ludicrous reserves:

?500 for dx's
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Shimano-Dx-Pedals-Old-School-Bmx-9-16-Nos-Boxed/224004581123

?700 for a hutch stem
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Shimano-Dx-Pedals-Old-School-Bmx-9-16-Nos-Boxed/224004581123

then when flights don't make >?440
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Redline-401-Flight-Cranks-Full-Wrap-Old-School-Bmx/224004438992

They're resisted with a bin of ~?700, but now pulled.

That's without mentioning Bullseye hubs at >?300 and Bullseye Cranks at a final auction price of ?545, and they didn't make his reserve. Me thinks some kind of shill activities are afoot for sure...

Don't worry, I'm here to redress the balance. First thing I've stuck on eBay for ages sold for half it value (a tenner) plus I had fees plus I forgot to add the postage  ;D

It's not just BMX parts, I've sold some stuff on eBay recently for way more than I thought it would fetch. They were retro items and as we all know, anything retro and collectable has had a decent surge in recent years, I wasn't expecting such a surge though. I thought I was just lucky, but a couple of items flew up with bids and although both retro, they're not hobbies that are connected.

I have noticed a decrease in the price of vinyl though during the pandemic.

Mad times.
