Just bought this
« on: October 15, 2019, 10:37 PM »
I just got this off ebay for £45. My son is old enough to go to MK now so if there is one next year he wants to go with an 80s bike. I bought him this for Christmas. He will need to do it up to take with him. Never seen a Stratton before in my life!

Lol. I'm not sure you mean that. It looks original though and is fairly unusual. Others I've seen tonight have the colour scheme the other way around.

My son wants an 84 Mongoose, he can make do with the Stratton.

I kinda like it!, reverse E.T colours  :) I wonder if it came out a bit later than the E.T and kinda copied the colour scheme? Stick on some news tyres and grips and clean it up a little and it will look cool i reckon!  :daumenhoch:

I remember these from way back. I love seeing these as much as I like seeing the haro's, gt's, etc.

Looks good, give it a clean and ride it as is :)

Also type "stratton" into the search bar, there have definitely been posts about them in the past.

I saw some posts but they were old and I couldn't get the pictures. It is in fairly decent condition but some of the paint work has been 'touched up' really badly. Not sure  how I can sort that as I want to keep as much original paint as possible. I like the quirky cheap old bikes.
